Your wedding day should be
a day that everyone enjoys and remembers with pleasure. I
hope to be able to help you to enjoy your day and capture
both the joy and the memories for an album that tells the
story of your day.
My style is relaxed and informal,
I only undertake one wedding a day, so my time is devoted
to you. I usually take a mix of reportage style images, capturing
candid images and small details of the day, and a selection
of not too formal groups and portraits; to capture all those
magical moments as unobtrusively as possible and ensure that
parents are also happy with the images. If some disaster overtakes
me before your wedding I will arrange for a suitable photographer
to replace me.
Its very important to meet
and discuss what you want from your wedding photography, whether
you want a truly reportage coverage of your day which captures
the whole story as it unfolds or whether you need a mixture
of images. The choice of wedding album is also important and
needs to be decided before the wedding in order to shoot the
right images for your book.
There are new and exciting
developments in wedding albums; you can have the more traditional
book with a series of 8x6 images or reportage style with multiple
prints on a page, you can now even have your images presented
as a bound book, magazine style for a truly individual and
original book.
There are packages to suit
most budgets and a wide range of albums
available Most packages are very flexible and can be tailored
to your personal choice with designer albums available from
some of the top manufacturers in the world including Jorgensen
from Australia.
Many packages include scanning
of your images and inclusion on this web site for you and
your friends and family to view. Your images are presented
to you in a preview album or bookfor you to make you choice
from, with reportage packages I simply need you to choose
the most essential images to be included and the ones you
do not want, I will then design the album for you to show
the story of your day. Photography can be in black and white
or colour, or a mixture of the two. Digital montages and other
special effects and finishes are also available
